MOHAMMAD ALAM moved to Karachi from Tando Mohammad Khan 21 years ago. After doing various odd jobs he started work as a barber and five years ago he bought his own barber shop! Alam recently took a loan of RS 25,000 from Tameer in order to purchase a fifth chair for his shop. He now serves more customers and has hired one extra staff member.
