WAZIR ALI is one of our most ingenious customers. He purchases defective products like t-shirts and socks from factories, de-threads them, winds the thread into rolls, fits them onto a loom and weaves blankets out of them, which he sells at various markets around the city, including the well-known Boulton Market. Many of Wazir Ali’s blankets were sent up north for earthquake victims.

Wazir took a RS 30,000 loan from Tameer six weeks ago in order to buy mass amounts of raw materials at summer prices (50% cheaper).

He lives with his family in the Gulzar-e-Hijri district of Baldia.
