KHALIL-UR-REHMAN is one of SITE’s first customers. For the past five years he has owned and managed a pharmacy-cum-grocery store in a busy market area in SITE. He took a loan of RS 50,000 to purchase medicines and raw materials to improve business. Khalil says he “heard about Tameer through friends and so far have had no problems. My business has improved and I plan to return for more loans.” Khalil lives in Nazimabad and moved to Karachi from Punjab seven years ago.
